If you are looking to keep track of total sales per State, this template will help you do just that, and has the ability to import your WooCommerce, Etsy and PayPal sales data, so you don't have to spend extra time on data entry.
The file is set up to track the item sales, shipping income and sales tax collected per state. Directions come with on how to download your reports from WooCommerce, Etsy or PayPal, and you can also manually enter sales information that occurs outside of these sources.
The file will add up the totals across all the platforms, so that you can see the grand total in sales, shipping income and sales tax collected per state:
This is great if you think you’re close to hitting the sales tax thresholds, which are different for each state, but also if you are only reporting sales tax in your state.
Here is an example of how you would paste the WooCommerce report into the specified page in the template. The formulas in the state summary page will do the rest to add up your totals sales:
Upgrade option: Category & Item Summary page:
You can also get the upgrade that includes several other pages that will summarize your sales totals by item sold and category. Since you’re already downloading and importing your sales data, you will only have to paste the csv’s into the template 1 time, and then you can view both reports.
To get your sales data totals by category, you will need to assign your items to the categories that you want to track – which are completely customize-able, so it could be any category specific to your shop.
For example, if you sell jewelry, you may want to see total sales for all necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and matching sets. Or if you sell handmade bags, you could separate them into categories of leather purses, totes or handbags, or by materials.
The way you set up your categories is completely up to you! This is going to provide a lot of insight into what is working best, so that you can continue to make the right improvements.
All you have to do is decide on the categories and enter them into the summary page (up to 20), then inside each venue’s page, you’ll assign the items sold to their category BUT I have some shortcuts to help you do that faster than going 1 by 1, which you’ll find in the PDF directions that come with.

Most of my templates come with the cells with formulas protected, to prevent someone from deleting or writing over the formulas, which could cause the template to not work as described. If you would like to make changes to the formulas, I can send a version with the formulas unprotected for a small fee here.
