This excel template is going to make viewing your sales statistics so much easier!
Instead of guessing what your best-selling products are, why not see the actual data behind which products and categories of your products are doing the best, and which venues certain items are selling better at?
See a sample demonstration of how this template works here:
The sales statistics spreadsheet is set up so that you can easily import your sales data from – Etsy, WooCommerce, PayPal, and even manually enter sales that occur from other sources.
Directions are included on how to download this information from each venue, copy and paste the csv into the specified pages of the template, and make the most sense out of the results.
To get your sales data totals by category, you will need to assign your items to the categories that you want to track – which are completely customize-able, so it could be any category specific to your shop.
For example, if you sell jewelry, you may want to see total sales for all necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and matching sets. Or if you sell handmade bags, you could separate them into categories of leather purses, totes or handbags, or by materials.
The way you set up your categories is completely up to you! This is going to provide a lot of insight into what is working best, so that you can continue to make the right improvements.
All you have to do is decide on the categories and enter them into the summary page (up to 20), then inside each venue’s page, you’ll assign the items sold to their category BUT I have some shortcuts to help you do that faster than going 1 by 1, which you’ll find in the PDF directions that come with the template.
Bonus – this also comes with an extra page for tracking U.S. state sales tax. Since you’re already downloading and importing your sales data, you will only have to paste the csv’s into the template 1 time, and then you might as well get this added sales tax report, if it’s something you have to track anyway. This is an extra page in the template that will list out your total sales, shipping income and sales tax collected for all the states in the U.S. This is great if you are tracking the sales tax thresholds per state, or if you just want to track how much sales tax you’ve collected for your own state.
